Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information SAINT TCG collects, why, who processes it on our behalf, and what rights you have. SAINT TCG is operated by SHO Co., Ltd. (株式会社聖), which is responsible for the personal information described here.

Information We Collect

• Order information — your name, billing and delivery address, email address and, where you provide it, your telephone number.
• Order contents — the products you bought, the amount paid and the currency.
• Account information — if you create an account, your email address and password (stored only as a one-way hash).
• Enquiries — what you write to us by email.
• Technical information — IP address, browser type and pages requested, recorded by our web server and security layer to operate the site and prevent abuse.

We do not receive or store your full card number. Card details are entered with our payment processor.

How We Use It

• to take payment, and to fulfil and deliver your order;
• to send messages about your order, such as order confirmations and dispatch notices;
• to handle cancellations, refunds, returns and enquiries;
• to detect and prevent fraud and abuse;
• to meet accounting, tax and other legal obligations.

We do not use your information for any other purpose without your consent, except where the law permits.

Who Processes It

• WordPress and WooCommerce — the software this store runs on, hosted on our own server. Order, customer and account records are kept in our own database.
• Cloudflare — DNS, encryption and protection against attacks. Requests to this site pass through Cloudflare, which processes connection data including your IP address.
• GlobePay — our payment processor. Payment details are submitted to GlobePay to take payment.
• Japan Post and the delivery service in your country — your name, delivery address and contact details, so that your order can be delivered and tracked. Where we use an alternative tracked service, it receives the same details for the same purpose.

We do not use website analytics, advertising trackers or third-party marketing services. If that changes, we will update this policy before any such service is enabled.

Sharing

We share personal information only with the service providers above, for the purposes above, and where we are required to by law. We do not sell personal information.

International Transfers

We are based in Japan and ship internationally. Your information is processed in Japan and by the service providers above, which may process it in other countries. We use these providers only for the purposes in this policy and take steps to keep your information protected.

Cookies

This site sets only cookies needed for it to work: remembering your basket, your language and display currency, keeping you signed in if you have an account, and security cookies set by Cloudflare. We do not set advertising or analytics cookies.

How Long We Keep It

Order and transaction records are kept for seven years, the period for which a Japanese company must retain its accounting books and supporting records. Account information is kept until you ask us to delete your account; records we must retain are then kept for that purpose only. Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them.

Security

This site is served over encrypted connections and sits behind Cloudflare; access to the underlying systems is restricted to the people who run the store; and passwords are stored only as one-way hashes. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

Your Rights

You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct, add to or delete it, to stop using or sharing it, and to provide a copy. Depending on where you live — for example under Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information, or the GDPR in the European Union and United Kingdom — you may have further rights under local law. To make a request, contact us at the address below; we may need to confirm your identity first.

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
